Purple flowered plants in CSU Spur Hydro Backyard

The Colorado Stormwater Center provides education, performs training and conducts research with the goal of maintaining and improving the health of lakes, rivers and streams through proper stormwater management.

Focus Areas

The Center’s activities are organized around four major themes: urban hydrology, stormwater best management practices, nature-based solutions, co-benefits and life-cycle assessment of green stormwater infrastructure.

Urban Hydrology

A scenic outdoor view of CSU campus with a pond reflecting the surrounding trees and a modern glass building in the background. Walking paths, benches, and greenery are spread throughout the landscape, with a mountain range visible in the distance. The sky is partly cloudy with patches of blue, and a bus can be seen on the road in the far left of the image.
