Born in northern Minnesota and growing up in and around the Boundary Waters wilderness area, Chris has always had an appreciation for the role of water in our lives. After graduating from Carleton College with a degree in English literature, he went into video production, running his own business with a focus on educational content and television advertisement. After moving to Colorado, he went back to school and received his master’s degree in computer information systems from CSU. Software engineering proved to be more appealing than project management, and since then he has happily worked on web applications large and small in social media, gaming, professional sports, scientific research, agricultural, and health insurance industries. He now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife and too many pets.
